Welcome to Florida Pioneer Network

The Florida Pioneer Network (FPN) was founded in 2000 as a statewide coalition of organizations and individuals to work together toward implementing person-directed long-term care. The term we use for this activity is “culture change.”  Culture change is focused on altering the way in which long-term care settings operate to help them transform themselves into places where individuals want to live and want to work.

FPN has been instrumental in providing culture change educational programs, coaching projects, information and resource connections, and advocacy leadership throughout Florida. Examples of recent Florida and other statewide accomplishments can be found at the National Pioneer Website: www.pioneernetwork.net.
